Our Team

Upon graduation from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Biological Science, Dr. Gittins attended Northeastern State University College of Optometry in Tahlequah Oklahoma.  His first few years of practice were at Young Eye Institute in Lawton Oklahoma where he specialized in ocular disease, acute care, and co-management of ocular surgery.

This experience led him to American Laser Vision in Fort Worth where he worked exclusively with refractive eye surgery patients.  He eventually returned to Oklahoma City to join Clear Sight Center where he continued to specialize in the co-management of refractive surgery patients.  While working at Clear Sight Center he had the opportunity to purchase Brixton Opticians which at the time was a small optical.  Eventually, he changed the name to Brixton Eye Clinic where he now practices full-time.

What Dr. Gittins enjoys most about practicing optometry is finding ocular signs of life-threatening systemic conditions before they become more serious.  He also enjoys visiting with patients about their day and getting to know them. 

Dr. Gittins is a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry, a member or the Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians (OAOP), and a member of the American Optometric Association (AOA).  He is also active on the legislative committee of the OAOP.

Dr. Haley Sparks was born and raised in Enid, Oklahoma and graduated from Enid High School. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Oklahoma with a bachelor’s degree in Biology and a minor in Psychology. She graduated from the Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry in May of 2020.

Dr. Sparks practices full-scope primary eye care including dry eye treatment, pediatrics, and ocular disease management. She is a member of the Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians (OAOP) as well as a member of the American Optometric Association (AOA). Dr. Sparks enjoys spending her spare time with her husband and two dogs, visiting family and friends, and cheering on the OU football team.
